Kerry & Tyler | October 13, 2018
Kerry & Tyler were an absolute dream to work with. Tucked away at Hubbell Homestead at Colgate Park, their wedding day took place in the middle of October, right as the fall leaves of Vermont started to peak. The wind was crisp and as I drove over the mountain to arrive at their location I saw what little snow had just started to fall the night before.
The music was soft and the crowd was joyful. Kerry and Tyler married each other with the mountains behind them, dotted with oranges and yellows, in beautiful contrast to the bridesmaid dresses of deep blue. Their excited pups made their own entrance into the ceremony with little bow ties and lots of tail wagging.
The reception was held in a glowing white tent at Hubbell, resembling a small castle on the hill. The crowd shifted between taking over the dance floor, to staying cozy with s’mores around the fire outside.
I am so lucky to be able to capture days like this.
